R. Todd Cooley, MD

A native of Lake Charles, Dr. Richard "Todd" Cooley completed his undergraduate studies at McNeese State University in 1990 and earned his M.D. from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. Afterwards, he performed his residency in Internal Medicine at Earl K. Long Hospital in Baton Rouge, completing his program in 1997. Dr. R. Todd Cooley then joined the family of The Baton Rouge Clinic and entered into the practice of Internal Medicine.

Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Cooley is a member of the Louisiana State Medicine Society and the American College of Physicians, and in his years of practice, he has served on the Board of Directors of The Baton Rouge Clinic. Dr. Cooley is licensed to practice in the state of Louisiana.

Outside of his practice, he is involved with Catholic High School and St. Joseph's Academy of Baton Rouge. He enjoys travel, golf, and family time. He and his wife and children call Baton Rouge home.
