David W. Fontenot, MD

Joining the Baton Rouge Clinic in 1997, Dr. David W. Fontenot brings to the care of his patients nearly two decades of experience in the practice of Internal Medicine.

An Opelousas, Louisiana native, Dr. Fontenot earned his M.D. from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1994 and performed both an Internal Medicine internship and residency at Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge, completing his program in 1997.

Dr. Fontenot, licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana, is board certified in Internal Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine.
