Ricky C. Winburn, MD

Dr. Ricky Winburn attended Southeastern Louisiana University where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He then spent 2 years teaching high school Chemistry and Physics at nearby French Settlement High School. He then decided to fulfill his dream of becoming a physician by earning his medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. While in medical school Dr. Winburn fell in love with Internal Medicine because of the ability to help solve complex cases and build lifelong relationships with patients, so he completed his internship and residency at The University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile, AL.

Dr. Winburn decided to come home to Louisiana to continue his career and establish his practice.

Dr. Winburn is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Licensed in the state of Louisiana. In the summer of 2017, he joined the Internal Medicine department of The Baton Rouge Clinic.
