Dawn R. Vick, MD

Dr. Vick was born and raised in Baton Rouge. After graduating from Belaire High School, she earned her Bachelor's degree from LSU, where she served as president of her college during her senior year. She then went on to receive her M.D. from LSU Medical School in Shreveport. After deciding on a career in pediatrics, Dr. Vick completed her residency at the Medical College of Georgia, where she was asked to stay on as Chief Resident and Faculty member. Some of her notable career accomplishments include serving as Woman's Hospital's Chief of Pediatrics from 2000-2002 and being asked by Governor Bobby Jindal to serve on the state's Child Death Review Panel.

Dr. Dawn R. Vick incorporates her passion for fitness and nutrition into the daily care of her patients, regularly discussing the importance of a healthy lifestyle in preventing obesity and other diseases related to being overweight and inactive.
