D. Stephen Sanches, MD

Dr. D. Stephen Sanches was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. After graduating from Catholic High School, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from LSU. Dr. Sanches earned his M.D. from LSU Medical School in New Orleans and completed his residency in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital in New Orleans.

Dr. D. Stephen Sanches joined Drs. Vick, Schwartzenburg, Kelleher, and Boudreaux in 2012, which brought him back to his hometown of Baton Rouge. He engages his patients and their families with a partnership-style approach in which he always welcomes discussion about each patient's health. His patients and families enjoy his attentive but laidback style of practice and he is known for offering both his "doctor advice" and "daddy advice." He loves the fact that much of his job allows him to act like the big kid he is and never misses a chance to be goofy with his patients. He also enjoys getting to hear all the progress his older patients are making in school, sports, and life.
