Firearms Training has one the most comprehensive Concealed Handgun Courses in the area with Safe, hand on Pistol Training, Child Safety, Gun Cleaning and Law taught by a licensed, Practicing Attorney. We also have complimentary lunch provided by Reginelli's Pizzeria.

Some classes are built to be the bare minimum: process students and get them out and the instructor paid as quickly as possible. What the instructors at FTL do, however, is much more than that. The FTL concealed carry class involves:

· General knowledge about firearms and ammunition

· Safety rules for handling, manipulating, and storing firearms

· Safe hands-on training with YOUR firearm on how to hold, safely manipulate, and fire YOUR firearm

· Safe hands-on training with YOUR firearm on how to fix malfunctions you may encounter

· Fingerprints cards made (required by law for first-time permit applicants)

· Discussion of mindset related to conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques

· In-depth treatment of the statutes and case law of the state of Louisiana relative to concealed carry, use of force, justification, and other related concepts

· Complimentary lunch from a local Restaurant with a practicing local attorney about legal issues. ( Metairie lunch by Reginelli's Pizzeria)

· Hands-on examples and demonstrations of a variety of concealable holsters and techniques

· Safe one-on-one instruction at a local shooting range in basic shooting

· Strategies and precautions relative to child firearms safety and access prevention

· Safe hands-on instruction on how to clean YOUR firearm
