Ilton Cubero Salazar, MD

Ilton Cubero Salazar, M.D., is a cardiologist at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. Dr. Cubero Salazar has expertise in general cardiology, advanced heart failure, amyloid cardiomyopathy, sarcoid, inherited cardiomyopathies, cardiomyopathy, transplant cardiology and valvular heart disease.

In his practice, he enjoys being able to make a diagnosis or treatment decision that helps his patients feel better and live a longer, healthier life. He also loves the opportunity to advocate for his disadvantaged patients. 

In his free time, Dr. Cubero Salazar enjoys running, hiking and spending time with his family.
