Jonathan is a professional chef, certified commercial forager and apprenticing herbalist. Local, sustainable and seasonal is at the core of his beliefs and reflects in his cuisine and craft. He has been featured in the Washington Post, DC Refined and Northern Virginia Magazine. He has also been featured in Michelin, Virginia Living Magazine and as a main presenter for his knowledge of foraging for Monticello. Recently he has stepped out of the kitchen to further pursue his love of nature and wildcraft. He is currently studying to become a registered herbalist with the highly accredited American Herbalism Guild and working to become certified with the School of Natural Skincare.
