Kari Fossum, M.D.

Dr. Kari Fossum is a fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist and adult strabismus specialist joining Northwest Eye. She provides comprehensive care for children and adults, with expertise in pediatric cataracts, amblyopia, and complex eye misalignments. Dr. Fossum earned her medical degree and completed her ophthalmology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at the University of Michigan. She has authored peer-reviewed publications, presented award-winning research at national meetings, and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
