Rick and Karen Hughlett founded Rick?s Automotive, Inc. in 1980. What has become a multi-operational enterprise initially started with two employees in a rented 2,500 square foot building. Today, Rick?s Automotive sits on a full 28,000 square foot campus, complete with a tire shop and lube facility in Springfield, MO.As a fourth generation Springfieldian, Rick and his family are dedicated to serving their local community. Since opening the doors to the car repair shop and tire shop, Rick has cultivated a strong reputation with his friendly, caring staff and mechanics, comprised of highly trained professionals, most of whom have been with the company for more than ten years, and several for over twenty. Even with the success and resulting growth, Rick?s Automotive remains an independent family business Rick?s own daughter and son in law are among Rick?s trusted staff.
