Smith Law Firm, P. C. dates its history to 1871 when Massena Bullard was licensed to practice law in Montana Territory. In 1892, J. Miller Smith Sr. began practicing law with Massena Bullard and in 1900 when Massena Bullard retired, the Smith Law Firm name was given to the firm. The practice was carried forward by J. Miller Smiths sons, grandson and now by R. J. Jim Sewell, Craig D. Charlton and Scott H. Clement.
