I learned about the field of audiology through a close childhood friend. She was diagnosed with a progressive hearing loss when we were children. Seeing her experience with hearing aids and, then later with cochlear implants, inspired me to pursue pediatric audiology. I treat each patient with the same respect, time, dedication, and commitment I would invest on a close family member or friend. I intend to put the patient’s best health interests first. It is very important to build lasting relationships where there is mutual trust between patient and provider. The treatment approach I would use for a patient is very individualized based on their specific needs. When I am not seeing patients, I enjoy trail running, traveling, and spending time with my husband and our two dogs.
