My Review by Jesse via GrubHub on 10/11/2013
Given the limited options in the area, this restaurant was surprisingly convenient and tasty. I was particularly impressed with their General Tso's Shrimp which they served with sauce on the side, allowing me to enjoy a less saucy dish.
My Review by bmoey via Citysearch on 10/2/2012
I have yet to write a bad review for a restaurant but am now inspired because China Cafe really gave us the worst food I have ever had, and I am not that fussy. Sesame chicken was hard to chew. We threw out the Pad Thai, it was so bad -…
Great Place for Money and Quality by scottmbarron via Citysearch on 9/9/2009

The Best Chinese Chicken Soup in Town by Harry L via Insider Pages on 9/9/2008
If you are looking for a good bowl of chicken soup to help you fight off that cold, you should try New China. The portions are great the service is good.

My wife and I have eaten here a number of times and considered the place average for a small Chinese restaurant: reasonable prices and smaller portions and limited service. However when we decided to order take-out we found the food to be…
BAD DINING EXPERIENCE! ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE! by nimh via Citysearch on 4/6/2008
Food is questionable and the service is surly. I have eaten lots of Chinese food - good and bad - and the food at China Cafe is on the poor end. Plus the staff goes out of their way to make customers feel as though they are in the way,…
Some entrees good by bellefontonian via Citysearch on 2/3/2008
But pretty much average cooked somewhere else and warmed up locally. Bourbon chicken good, soggy shrimp in Chow Har Kew, should have been crisp! Huge servings. Half serving is plenty. Hostess was very nice, helpful.
Regular pricing with smaller portions by katakeet88 via Citysearch on 8/6/2006
The people are friendly and service is pretty prompt. I ordered a regular dish of the homestyle tofu and they put quite a bit of sugar in the brown sauce. It wasnt bad food. An extra bowl of rice is $1. There was not much vegetables in the…
