Run Forrest Run by L FOSTER on 2/14/2025 While this guy was working for Norris Mechanical I bought a AC unit from them thinking he worked for them. He was employed but was selling units on the side without Norris knowing about it using their truck without their knowledge. . Turns out he was buying units with his own license which is based out of VA. Norris is out of NC. 10 year warranty, mine didn't last 4 years. Jan 2024 mine stopped heating called him he would not come. Make it into Fed was having to run a 1500 watt heater and the unit to stay warm at 32 weather . Called again he refused to come. Had to hire someone else to come fix it. UNDER WARRANTY. Month or so later another part broke threatened to take him to court he came out fixed it we had words, he left never heard any more from him. Jan 2025 last month. One year later got a invoice for almost 1000 dollars. I ask for a brake down of the bill IN WRITTING he refused said he won't doing that,( and he actually put that in a text he would take me to court if I didn't pay. Sent him a check with a deduction I felt was fair he sent me a picture of the check tore in half said he was not accepting that. Threatened to pull my GF into court when she had not one thing to do with it does not even live here, so she would miss work. My 10 year warranty with this man didn't last 4 years, and he sent me a text telling me he was paid to install a new unit not service it and my warranty was dead cause the unit has to be serviced every year and I did not have a contract with him. . He actually put that in writing. You might be happy with the job the day he leaves but pray you don't have to have him come back and fix anything he did. . Called the Sheriff they said I could sue him for what it cost to fix the heat strips by the other company but there was nothing they could do about my warranty. You know what your getting when you call him. Hope he don't do to you what he did to me.
