William W. Huang, MD, MPH

Born, raised and educated in this state, I am a North Carolinian through and through. Currently, I am a professor and vice chair in the Department of Dermatology at the UNC School of Medicine. Before this, I served as professor and residency program director at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and as adjunct professor at Duke University School of Medicine. I attended North Carolina State University (valedictorian, Bachelor of Science in computer engineering) and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Doctor of Medicine, Master of Public Health). I completed my residency in dermatology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. I have received several teaching awards as a faculty member, lectured nationally and internationally, and authored more than 100 peer-reviewed articles, several book chapters and co-authored four books. I currently serve on several national boards and committees for dermatology.
