Builders’ General Supply Company was incorporated in 1931 in Cranford, New Jersey by Shaheen A. Shaheen as a retail outlet for a general line of building materials. A few years later, Shaheen was joined by his son, Victor. Father and son aggressively solicited new business and remained ahead of the competition by introducing new trends and products in building materials. Together, they developed a modern and well-established chain of building material yards with a reputation for service and quality products.
