At least twice a year we eat at the Crabs Claw and have 2 different experiences depending upon where you sit. If you a seated on the first floor in the annex area the service can be awful. However, the main dining area and the upstairs…

Consistency is lacking. If you are there on a good night the food is great. Service could be better and the wait is excessive during the summer. Not sure the wait is worth what you have to pay. Early bird and luch specials are good.

The Crab's Claw is definitely a local favorite. With live bands and good food, it's a really fun place to eat. However there is almost always at least an hour wait so if you want to go, you better go early or be prepared to wait!

The Crab's Claw is a great place for seafood in Lavallette. It is a relaxed atmosphere and is very family friendly. In the summer and on the weekends, a reservation is recommended. The food is usually great, but sometimes overpriced.

This is a great tourist attraction on the Jersey Shore. They have great food however at times it can be overpriced. I suggest going on Wednesday nights for Karaoke. It's always a great time.
