AISHA ADDISON

Obtained her CNA in 1999, Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2004, and Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2010. In 2020 she became the primary caretaker for her paternal grandmother who was battling end-stage dementia. Being a solo caregiver was one of the hardest roles she had ever taken on in her entire life. She learned firsthand the physical and mental demands of being a caregiver. Through blogs and other online forums, she also acquired knowledge of how many other caregivers were struggling with insomnia, depression, anxiety, grief, and more.
