On the first appointment, we will give the patient a thorough and complete clinical examination of the mouth and face. We will then discuss the possible need of orthodontics, and briefly describe what this would entail in your particular case. This visit will involve absolutely NO discomfort. The initial exam visit is complimentary.

If the patient does need orthodontics, the next step after the initial exam is orthodontic records. This includes two radiographs (x-rays), photographs, and upper and lower impressions (molds) of the teeth. The information from these records allows for a more detailed and accurate diagnosis, and also documents the starting point of treatment. After the records appointment, we are ready to start treatment. When treatment is complete, it is amazing to see the before and after comparison.
