This was a great, economical place to stay in Artesia, NM. The breakfast was an upgrade to the normal La Quinta fare with bacon and scrambled eggs. What a pleasant surprise! It was a nice quiet night.

One night stay on short notice. Rooms are spacious and clean, with a fridge and microwave. Friendly and quick check in and a decent breakfast. I recommend this location.

Brand new, so the room was a delight. Nice big walk-in shower with glass surround (not a tub with a curtain). All non-smoking, a big PLUS. Friendly front desk. Free breakfast is pretty typical for most all the hotels we stay at

We enjoyed the "newness" of the motel. Very clean. Nice decor. Helpful staff. Our room was provided with all the amenities. Even though it was a bit of a drive to Carlsbad, it was worth it to stay in quiet little Artesia. Will stay here…

This motel is a good stepping off point for a visit to Carlsbad Caverns. It's new and quite nice and costs half what an equivalent motel would cost in the town of Carlsbad. It's worth the extra 30 miles of driving.

This La Quintana is newer than some and the rooms are nice, comfortable bed, and a nice size There is no grass for dogs but did find some at the hotel next door that we used. Breakfast is the usual eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal etc.

I frequent the Artesia, NM area because of my job and we have family in the area. On the plus side, this hotel is brand new, with a clean, modern look. Internet Wifi was surprisingly fast, regardless of the high volume of users. Staff were…

Hotel is brand new! Huge rooms with nice comfy beds, large flat screen TV's, and a wonderful continental breakfast in the morning! Only thing we disliked was some hair left in the shower when we first arrived but other than that everything…

Staying at the La Quinta Inn and Suites was a great option for our family traveling from Albuquerque to Carlsbad Caverns. When the Carlsbad hotels were all booked up or extremely pricey, I started looking at Artesia. The hotel still has…
