NEVER trust a mechanic that is evasive when you ask questions. by BigBleu on 2/16/2017 If a shop can't give you some type of estimate when given a very specific question--one of which wherein they have been provided explicit information as what is needed and what it is for, run like hell. All I needed was some type of roundabout estimate on a carburetor rebuild. That didn't entail needing to have my vehicle towed to the shop first so you could proceed to attempt to sell me a whole lot of unneeded thingamajigs and whatnots at governmental prices. If I say that I need a carburetor rebuilt, who the "F" are you to question me as to how I came up with that. As I stated in my email--"Well, foolish little female that I am, I lifted that big heavy hood thingy and took a little look see. I won't be needing your services as I contacted another shop who immediately told me--I don't work on those but I know a good and honest person who does. Then, in under 10 minutes, I had the information I needed. Not only did you lose a potential customer, you have bought yourself some negative advertising."Back in my natal years, I nursed off engine oil but I am old and tired and was going to pay somebody to do something I didn't happen to feel like doing myself--old people do that kind of crap. P.S. They got one star only because the system forced my hand.

Not ASE certified by Parshooter on 4/18/2016 They know how to change your oil and swap tires, i would trust them with anything past that, never again. They told me what the problem was and i paid $530 to know that it wasnt. Then he quoted me $170 for a different part, no thanks ill put in the $35 oxygen sensor myself, good luck with your business..
