Jonathan S. Leibowitz, MD, is a primary care provider offering evidence-based, integrative medicine to patients in the Borough Park area of Brooklyn, New York. With board-certifications in primary care, nephrology, and internal medicine, Dr. Leibowitz uses his vast body of experience to promote the health and well-being of his patients. Dr. Leibowitz holds a medical degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. After graduation, he remained in New York City, completing a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in nephrology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, a leader in medical and scientific training.
Throughout his medical career, Dr. Leibowitz has made significant contributions to the fields of internal medicine and nephrology. He has conducted extensive studies, participated in several research initiatives, and published articles on topics related to nephrology. He also has lectured and delivered several presentations on the subject. He maintains an affiliation with the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn and is certified in medical acupuncture.

He has incorporated his own experiences — which included a series of major surgeries and months of grueling chemotherapy — into his patient-centered approach.
