Charit Taneja, MD

Dr. Charit Taneja is a board-certified endocrinologist at Northwell Health and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. His clinical practice focuses on the management of benign and malignant thyroid disorders, with a special focus on thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer. He aspires to provide comprehensive care for patients, working closely with thyroid/head and neck surgeons, nuclear medicine specialists and oncologists in order to allow for multidisciplinary management for patients with thyroid cancer. Dr. Taneja has published several research articles in the field of thyroidology and maintains active membership in various endocrinology organizations such as the American Thyroid Association.
