The rub with many a hangar-like Meatpacking District restaurant is that the food doesn't have to be that good. Indeed, most people come for the scene or the people-watching. But here, the food is a pleasant surprise. This tri-level spot,… Read Full Editorial
Abe and arthurs by tanimamanna via Citysearch on 5/15/2011
Food was good, although the soup I had was cold; our waiter apologized and comped it. The only thing that was annoying was that we made 9:30 resy and they didn't sit us until 10:15.

Abhorrent Hostess Service by LaliNYC via Citysearch on 7/21/2010
This restaurant is in a fantastic location and the decor is tastefully done. However, the service at this establishment is abhorrent. Principally, the hostess service. Instead of apologizing each of the 3 times we asked if our table was…
New outdoor seating and brunch by JordanSmith via Citysearch on 6/16/2010
Have been for dinner twice now and plan to return again. The food and service has been great each time. I will keep going back for the tuna tacos. Now i plan on going to sit at their new outdoor seating which is set in a great area to…
Delicious New Hotspot!! by FRH83 via Citysearch on 6/10/2010
I had been hearing great things about this place for a while but was hesitant to make a reservation. Finally I caved and got a reservation for a Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised. It was packed with young people and had a great…
Disappointing on every level by cheetohsaddict via Citysearch on 5/20/2010
We were excited to try their new brunch two weeks ago and from the moment we walked in, it was a disappointing experience. Three people wished us a 'good evening' (at 1:00pm). The waiter couldn't answer any of our questions about the…
A perfect meal by shaboomy via Citysearch on 2/23/2010
Let me start by saying I can't stand the Meatpacking District. The people are so desperate to be "fabulous" and void of any real and/or interesting personality. That being said, it was worth the trip for Abe and Arthur's.
Our waitress…

Citysearch Editorial Review by Josh Ozersky via Citysearch on 10/21/2009
Located in the space formerly occupied by Lotus, Abe & Arthur's still has the nightclub vibe, but it?s a very different sort of restaurant. Chef Franklin Becker (Brasserie, Sheridan Square) has been chomping at the bit for a chance to…
Unbelievable experience, not expected by jenniferhyland via Citysearch on 10/18/2009
We arrived at 8pm and the place was just beautiful. I cannot believe this is the old Lotus space. It was busy, but not out of control. We had a couple of drinks and then our chicken liver came out. Oh my god was that great! It was 8:30 and…
