The house specialty---buckets of fresh mussels flavored with garlic, fennel and tomato---is worth the wait at this tiny, always-packed spot. Petite Abeille also does sugary Belgian waffles, hearty sausages with stoemp (a sweet… Read Full Editorial

Is it me?????? by wilma hoffman via Citysearch on 11/6/2011

My daughter and I went with a positive attitude based on the reviews we have read. Perhaps I was in a different place then the other reviews. Very small, appeared to be dirty (although that was only the way it looked to me) broken tile…

great deal! by CSMobileUser2 via Citysearch on 5/18/2009

Inexpensive and good. Sit outside for a true European feel. You can't go wrong with the muscles! Cash only so come prepared.

rude service by lakejj via Citysearch on 5/6/2009

the service at this place is amazingly rude. it also takes forever to be served. there is generally a line and the staff seems to feel no sense of urgency to accomodate the customers.

This is a very pleasant restaurant and the prices are fair. On Wednesday's is all you can eat mussels for $19.99, which is very tasty. The steak is good as well and the scenery is very unpretentious. Dinning here was an enjoyable…

great Belgian restaurant by Heather M. via Judy's Book on 8/4/2006

Petite Abeille is a Belgian cafe chain around the city, and it's worth a visit.I've been to the one in Tribeca several times and have an excellent experience every time. Waiters are very attentive, seem to know their food if you ask for a…

Satisfaction Guaranteed by Cassy S. via Judy's Book on 4/13/2006

Adorned with tintin paraphernalia, this charming restaurant is Belgian food at its best. The food is consistently delicious. Whether you go for brunch or dinner you will be satisfied. The omelette ardennaise, beef stew, belgian waffles,…

Delicious. by pippatill via Citysearch on 10/28/2005

This place is a true WV gem that gets all the variables right. The omelettes are fluffy, french toast perfect, and the coffee's strong, served in a big white beautiful mug. The host has been there for as long as I've lived in the…

A cute, consistently excellent Belgian restaurant for the budget-minded. by Contributor via Citysearch on 4/7/2005

In Short
This cozy tile-floored storefront, with just a handful of tables and an open kitchen, is beloved for brunch. Locals wind down into the weekend with fluffy omelets and sandwiches served on wooden cutting boards with…

Belgian food- especially for brunch- serves me right! by Mandy L. via Judy's Book on 10/25/2004

The tiny location in the West Village is charming, quaint and offers a variety of tasty Belgian influenced dishes. I usually go for brunch when we're in NYC and I own one of their super cute t-shirts- we have belgian waffles and perfectly…

Charm All the Way! by dwinkl via Citysearch on 11/24/2003

This is a wonderful treat, nestled into the sleepy Hudson Street locale for anyone visiting the west side. With adorable dining furniture and candle light, this cafe makes for a romantic dinner, but just get there early enough to secure a…

do you know who Captain Haddock is? by bdwelle via Citysearch on 8/29/2003

if so, you'll love all the Tintin paraphenalia... but don't let that fool you, the food is great and the place is open late. Granted, we were a bit drunk, but we _always_ are... Excellent mussels, steak, salads, I think we even had…
