Inspired by the bold and articulated flavors of Iraq and the Middle East, SUMER is committed to serving New York with fresh, handmade and authentic food in a relaxed environment.

We adopted our name from the word “Sumer” – the first urban civilization in the historical region of southern Mesopotamia, modern-day southern Iraq. Deriving inspiration the rich food culture of Middle East, we strive to bring about a one-of-its-kind of experience in New York through our various delicacies, served with love.
We take immense pride in the quality of our food. We only serve our guests with freshly prepared food and 100% halal meat.
