National Car Mart has been in business for over 50 years, serving the Cleveland, Akron-Canton, Toledo, and Youngstown markets. Our company was initially founded as a wholesale, dealer-to-dealer organization, helping local dealers to acquire inventory at wholesale costs, so they could pass these vehicles on to their clients at a great value. This is still very much a part of the National Car Mart DNA, as we are still the leading wholesale dealer in the Greater Cleveland area.

In the recent years, we decided that not only would we focus on serving our dealer clientele, but we would also add a retail consumer arm to the organization as well. We are now able to offer vehicles to the retail public at a fraction of the costs that they would normally pay. How do we accomplish this? It is due to the exceptional dealer relationships that we have in the area. There are very often vehicles that our franchise partners choose not to offer to their customers for a variety of reasons. These dealers will then contact us, in order to “wholesale” that vehicle. We purchase the unit at wholesale value and transport it to our facility. The staff at NCM then safety inspects that vehicle, performs whatever services are deemed necessary, and offers it to the public at a reduced cost. We do not try to compete with our franchise, new car partners. They offer exceptional values as well, such as Certified Pre-Owned, and brand new vehicles. What we offer is a great value, on a safe, reliable vehicle, that is usually priced well behind “book value.”
