STAY CLEAR OF THIS CAMPGROUND!! by R.S. Wonder Woman on 6/5/2023 STAY CLEAR OF THIS CAMPGROUND AND VENUE!! NASTY, DIRTY, TRASHY, SMELLY, & UTTERLY DISGUSTING PLACE!This place smells so bad, run down and unkempt. Campgrounds are trash filled and run down. Pot hole on drive in hasn't been repaired in over a year. The ponds are gross and the dock and covered bridge hasn't been updated in years. The inside of the Venue has not changed since 2014. There are outdated nik nacks all over (you can't remove or take down) and ugly Evergreen decorations that are gaudy. The buffet area had dust and dead bugs in it. The over head chandelier was not working properly. The smell: I have no idea what it is exactly, but, I'll describe it: sewage, pet urine/smell/dander, natural gas, mold, mildew, and rotten food. The dogs are not leashed per Ohio Code (except the blind one)-there is a "service dog" as well, but, that's not how Service Dogs behave-the way this one did. All 4 who can see roam freely on property and in the venue. This place is just nasty. If you're considering this place--I recommend you get a lawyer to review your contract and if they talk about additional things/services you get that in writing too: text/email/contract. They charge for every item you use or don't use. The chair covers and other table cloth items weren't white and they were stained and smelled like the venue. Save your time, energy and money.... go to a place that cares about you and the event you're hosting.
