My Review by crystalbarnhart via Citysearch on 6/16/2014
We've been going to this restaurant since it opened & were sadly dissappointed when we re-visted this last weekend. The service and food was terrible! Definitly not up to standard for this type of venue or from what we've experience in…

Absolutely the best upscale comfort food in the Portland area! From gourmet meatloaf with roasted potatoes and bacon jus to White cheddar mac and cheese with truffle oil crumbles and perfect crispy turnips, this place is awesome. They also…

Great service
Extremely disappointing by Renee O via Insider Pages on 6/2/2012
The food and service seems to have gone downhill this year. I've been to Marks for dinner twice in the past month with friends. Both times we were all very disappointed with our meals, even a simple burger. One friend ordered the chicken…

Long wait, beautiful views by Holli D via Citysearch on 6/20/2010
Don't expect to be seated on first come basis. They don't take reservations on small groups. There are open tables while we are waiting. Staff's friends are seated ahead of customers that have been waiting longer then 30 minutes!

My fav hangout in this area. Nice water and Sauvie Island views. Great NW cusine. A must try for someone who enjoys extraordinary sauces and seasonings.
Enjoy the river, enjoy the dining! by gail m via Insider Pages on 2/17/2010
This is a nice little restaurant with quite decent food at moderate prices, but the location makes it incredible!\r
You drive down a small road to this tiny marina, and --right on the water -- in a converted houseboat -- is this really…
A Treasure by ninabuckley via Citysearch on 4/17/2009
Well...I knew sooner or later some one would find out about this little gem...great views, good food, nice atmosphere, sits right on the river, and I mean "on" the\r
river...When I first came they were just a little hole in the wall, but…
Good river dining by DJ E via Insider Pages on 11/15/2008
This is river dining that is good. The prices are a little spendy for just a regular night out. It would be to your advantage if you are going here during the busy summer season that you make reservations.
Company party gets raves from staff!! by nwcoc via Citysearch on 1/14/2008
We decided to give Marks on the Channel a try this year (2007) as the venue for our company Christmas Party. Marks did a great job of creating a semi-private space within the restaurant for our group consisting of 20-adults. It is our…
Hidden Gem by smizz via Citysearch on 11/16/2007
After viewing the website for Mark's on the Channel I was enticed to visit this floating restaurant. I decided to hop in the car and travel from Portland to the channel in Scappoose. The drive was actually very nice and easy. Once we…
Poor Service, high prices. by krocyn via Citysearch on 8/25/2006
We have been to Mark's on three different occasions. The service has been poor each time. On our last and final visit it took about 15 minutes after we were seated before our group was acknowledged by a wait person. Once our order was…
Beautiful setting, delicious food, Pearl District prices in Scappoose by commeca via Citysearch on 8/19/2006
OK. Let's get right to it. Despite a very imaginative menu, above average execution of dishes, the use of obviously superior fresh ingredients, and a lovely surrounding environment, Mark's on the Channel, despite being priced like one, is…
