Gowtham Gannamani, MD

Gowtham Gannamani, MD, is a board-certified endocrinologist who joined Prisma Health in summer 2023. Dr. Gannamani also has an academic appointment at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Greenville as a clinical assistant professor.

Originally from India, he attended medical school at Andhra Medical College. His residency was at The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education, followed by an endocrinology fellowship at Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).

He has clinical experience in managing diabetes, thyroid, calcium, adrenal and pituitary conditions. An additional interest is health care for the LGBTQIA+ population.
