The Triple D Winery and Restaurant

The Triple D is Terry County’s first Winery/Restaurant that serves homemade lunches and also a Winery with over 50+ Texas Wines. Taste, drink, or buy a bottle. Come and experience a Terry County Grown Texas Wine today.

They offer private wine tastings and Wine Tours from Lubbock come and visit us.

We do private parties and do most food that the customer wants Mexican Food to Steaks, Italian, and otherfoods. I work with the customer and on what their needs are. I do private parties for 12 guests to 100 guests.

We do live music every Friday mostly from surrounding area, We are having our 2nd Annual Canjun Day that is focused on Brownfield Musicans I have about 9 bands that will be here inside and outside. Local Art, Car show, Quilt show.

Big Big event. WE are calling it Brownfield Musician Reunion at The Triple D, with our cajun food and burgers.Our passion is to serve our customers the best food and best service. I try to visit each table and ask where theyare from. We have a World map and an USA map people from all over have pinned their hometown, while visiting our home town.

I wanted to be a wine tasting room, but there was not enough wine tasters in our area so we combined ourrestaurant with our wine. We serve different wines from wineries that we are in contract with to sell our grapes from our vineyards. Our Vineyard Diamante Doble Dos is new, but my husbands brother Diamante Doble is 18 years old.

Most of our wines are his grapes. We take pride in our newest wines from ouir vineyard Diamante Doble Dos (That is where we come up with The Triple D) Mary’s Viognier and Ty’s Viognier So excited to say that Ty’s is a semi sweet white that just won a Silver medal at Texsom in Grapevine. Mary’s is more dry. We plan on bottleing more. and selling more of our grapes that we have contracted with other winery’s.

We serve a daily special everyday and our guest love our Hamburger Steak served on Wonderful Wednesdays. Our Fried Catfish is served on Fabulous Fridays. We make homemade desserts everyday from Chess Pies to Cakes or Cookiebars and brownies. From our menu everyone loves our hamburgers and our salads.I try to keep things that you can’t get anywhere else. We make our salsa and queso fresh also our taco shells for taco salad fresh, along with fresh made french fries and potato chips and corn chips. (DAILY)

Also guest that just want to taste wine we have cheese and fruit trays with bread sticks.On our Fabulous Fridays we serve hand cut Ribeyes or Double Bone Porkshops or Single served with Jalapeno butter, Chicken Breast, Shrimp fried or Grilled Cheesy Bacon Ranch Potatoes and seasonal veggies. Home made Rolls served with honey butter.

About The Wilmeth Family. Ty and Mary have always wanted a restaurant crazy huh, we always fed the band kids and cooked for the festivals cooking biscuits to burgers. They have worked on disaster relief cooking with the Baptist men for Red Cross and the Salvation Army. Mary learned from her mom how to , and continued to learn from the wonderful women at The Baptist Church in Plains Texas where they would feed 300 people every Wednesday night. You can say Ty and Mary LOVE IT.

My dream of a soup and sandwich wine tasting room has grown into a full fledged restaurant with 10 employees. We cook fresh items with my recipes and some recipes from my cooks. Ty has farmed all his life. His grandfather come to Terry County and cleared land for his family. Ty has farmed for 40 years after his father and his grandfather, all about a hundred or so years combined.
