Braza Grill is owned by J.R. Lopez, a native of Brazil who has lived in Utah for more than a dozen years.

Lopez originally opened an import store aptly named Made in Brazil, but decided he could make more money with a restaurant. After selling his import store he opened Braza Grill, a churrascaria modeled after barbeque restaurants in his homeland, with a buffet of hot and cold foods and meats hot off the grill, carried about the room by servers who slice off as much as diners want.

It’s not a unique concept in the United States or Utah. A wave of churrascaria fever has swept the nation since around 1999.

Not so tasty for sure by Guest G. via Judy's Book on 2/23/2010

This place needs a lot of work and people should start by learning how to serve right. I don't care if they can't speak but for Pete sake show some interest on the customers. I will try one more time and if you guys don't change then I…

Braza Grill is Delicious!!!!! by Madeliene H via Insider Pages on 9/18/2009

Braza Grill is so amazing! The food is great and filling. Probably the best deal out of the other brazilians restaurants in the area and definitely the most authentic. The service was good and fast. The Brazilian chocolate cake and the…

Braza Grill is Terrible!! by Jenny G via Insider Pages on 6/23/2009

I would never suggest going to this place. Poor selection and the worst customer service I have ever received anywhere. Pay 3-5 more bucks and go to rodizio or another place where you actually get treated well.

Braza Grill is just another hole. by Paylish P via Insider Pages on 6/15/2009

My party and I were very dissatisfied with our waitress?s service. She did not speak English very well and I had to explain what utensils were because she had no idea what I was talking about when I said, "Could I get some utensils…

Awesome Brazilian Eatery by elderjj1 via Citysearch on 6/24/2008

Braza Grill is my favorite Brazilian steak house in Utah. I have eaten at Rodizio Grill and grill from Impanema who rival Braza grill closely, but aren't quite as good in my opinion. The meat is cooked to perfection. They do not stray too…

Mmmmmm.....yummy! by braza g via Insider Pages on 2/13/2007

Every visit is quite eventful and scrumptious. My taste buds never seem to get enough yet, my belly says "No More!"\r \r The only thing I do not understand about Braza Grill is how they seemingly get away with charging large parties…

Great Brazillian Style Grill by Angela H via Insider Pages on 6/16/2006

This is a Brazillian style grill and is very similar to Rodizios. This is a great place to go for dinner. They also serve lunch. It is about $16 a person. They have a great side dish and salad bar. I love the marinated mozzerella…

Braza Grill by Angela H. via Judy's Book on 3/18/2006

This is a brazilian barbeque restaurant. It is so fun to go to. They have an all you can eat side dish and salad bar. Then they have people come around to your table with all sorts of different barbeque meats to try. The only one I…

Braza Grill by Christine R. via Judy's Book on 3/17/2006

Braza Grill is a typical brazilian meat buffet. There is a salad bar, and then servers come around with meat and cut you a slice if you want some. The salad bar has side dishes and salads. Most of them are quite good. The meat is good.…

Tastey food ... but a little heavy! by M. K via Insider Pages on 4/2/2005

If you are looking for an authentic Brazilian Grill, Braza Grill is unmatched! They offer every style and type of meat known and then some different combos too. The meat is great but ... The "salad bar" lacks a little i.e. no croutons ect,…
