Tuesday Crab Legs night? by Carol G via Insider Pages on 1/8/2011
Tuesday is supposed to be "all you can eat" priced at this place.\r
We drove to town, met our kids there, and the steamer was not working and there were NO crabs to be had. How can this place stay in business with NO crabs on Tuesday crab…
to believe we ate there by Guest G. via Judy's Book on 10/26/2010
Good: the fact that it was the time to leave. Bad: the managment was very rude and the service was not as better.its sad that the only place to get seafood around here is there, its a shack that only has shrimp so it should more or less be…

What a letdown!!! by WyldGade via Citysearch on 9/19/2010
My family and I went to MP5 tonight for dinner. What a letdown this place was! It's a converted Darryl's restaurant. There was something in between Darryl's and MP5 (Ye Olde Tavern or something like that-I never went). I had been to…
A little bit of NC in Virginia... by Julie C via Insider Pages on 8/18/2008
Very nice atmoshere... inside the restaurant, I feel like I could be in Hatteras... very nice decor, friendly wait staff, and delicious food. I try to order something different each time I go, and have not had a bad dish yet! I highly…
Beyond Disgusting by todcat via Citysearch on 7/3/2008
My husband and I recently moved to the Midlothian area and we have been inundated with direct mail pieces and coupons. After receiving several aforementioned incentives to visit Milepost 5, we finally decided to give it a try along with…
Given up on this place by winegod99 via Citysearch on 6/11/2008
We have been regulars for the last several years and enjoyed it up until the last year or so. The quality has been going downhill for quite some time now. While the service is good, upbeat and friendly, the cornbread is about the dryest…
Inexpensive tasty seafood by MangiaMurphy via Citysearch on 3/29/2008
If you live in the west end it is a bit of a drive to Mile Post 5 but we felt it was worth the extra time especially since there are very few seafood options on this end of town. It is ultra casual (most diners were wearing sweatshirts…
Like a vacation at home by Christopher U via Insider Pages on 12/28/2007
This restaurant has a very novel idea. They have in essence transplanted a seafood restaurant from the Outer Banks to Richmond. In my opinion they have succeeded. Eating here is like reminiscing about some of my best vacation experiences.
Best beach restaurant in town. by metroava via Citysearch on 9/22/2007
One of the best local Midlothian restaurants. Very friendly neighborhood bar with a smokefree dinning area for the family. Casual food but always good. It's just missing an Ocean.

One of Richmond's best kept secrets! We accidently found Mile Post 5. Once we experienced the food & atmosphere, we keep coming back. Casual setting with excellent food. \r
Great food & atmosphere by bristolemilie via Citysearch on 6/12/2006
We stumbled upon Milepost by accident. We were pleasantly pleased with the food, service & atmosphere. We will definately come back soon. Great crabcake sandwich!
Good "Hole in the wall" by imapone via Citysearch on 4/27/2003
This "hole in the wall" was just what we were looking for. Food is very good, if not great, and the service was friendly, if not the fastest in the world. The fried oysters, cocunut shrimp, crabs and cornbread were all winners at our…
Great "neighborhood feel" by infoMike via Citysearch on 1/22/2003
This is a great little "neighborhood" find - casual, reasonable prices, and the food was very good. Not fancy at all, but the fried shrimp was fresh and not overcooked. Good hushpuppies too...Our server was very pleasant and attentive. …

I had heared good things about this place, but was sadly let down. This is not good seafood. The People were pleasant but that is extent of my positivity.
