OUR APPROACH Professional nursing care is the core of patient-centered results. And it starts with literature-based best practice. We admit medically fragile infants, babies and children with the expectation that they will be weaned, decannulated (tracheostomy) and discharged within 5-8 years. We have safely accomplished these goals years ahead of schedule -within 7-24 months- reducing the time that our patients are dependent upon nursing care. ? We selectively recruit the best and brightest RNs to deliberately apply literature-based best practice necessary to optimize the health, function and outcomes of each medically fragile child that we are privileged to care for.
