My Review by harveym1360984853 via Citysearch on 5/12/2014
They are so great in here, there are people that are very nice and their waiting service is up to par with a lot of good restaurants out there. Fantastic dining experience.
Fresh and Yummy Tex Mex by Sheila M. via KidScore on 8/31/2012
Yummy burriots, salsas, and other Mexican fusion. The food is organic and good. The cons are it can get busy and hard to find seating during rush hour. Not much offered for kids.
Fresh & Fabulous by banderson7 via Citysearch on 11/3/2010
Loved the casual atmosphere of the place, reminded me of some of the great spots I've been to in Mexico. I especially liked all the salsa's! I had the chicken taco's with pickled onions~ really delicious. Would recommend it for sure!
Good Mexican food. by YUMMY via Citysearch on 5/3/2010
This was a great place to grab some lunch. Reminded me of Cancun. I had a chicken burrito, and it was delicious. Good place to stop in if you are in Redmond.
Best Mexican on the eastside by John75 via Citysearch on 5/12/2009
We go to oobas at least 2x month. It is prepared and grilled when you get there. The chipotle sauce is great and it is not an out of state chain.
Poor service & attitude trump decent food... by buenamigo24 via Citysearch on 5/9/2009
It's kinda sad a place with so much promise suffers from a almost complete lack of tact in treating customers...\r
How many times can a place SCREW UP the simplest orders ? when they ALWAYS ask for the same thing ? ?\r

Fast, Good, Authentic Mexican Food by S. J via Insider Pages on 9/4/2008
Not fancy and not very americanized. Simple, good Mexican food. Love the grill plates & burritos. Prices are about what you would expect at a place like this on the Eastside - not super cheap, but not outrageous.
Good mexican with a twist by SandraRedmond via Citysearch on 8/25/2008
Ooba's give you fresh quality mexican food with each dish having an unexpected twist - like the chicken plate contain string beans grilled for putting in your in your taco. Yum! Give it a try.
Excellent grilled meats by bben via Citysearch on 8/7/2008
If you go here, do yourself a favor and skip the burritos in favor of quesadillas, tacos or one of their specials that showcase the grilled meats and fish better. It's not exactly authentic Mexican food, but it's nothing like the typical…
Love it! by Chriss C via Insider Pages on 5/12/2008
The great food at Ooba's always amazes me. It doesn't matter if I get a burrito, or grilled veggies or nachos, they are spot on. Every time I get the scallop burrito the scallops are cooked to perfection and the combination of tastes are…
Best Mexican on the Eastside by TamraBridget via Citysearch on 2/20/2008
Everyone I bring here loves this place - it's been a safe bet for the office group lunch (including the vegetarian and "weight watchers" co-workers) or dinner out w/your "friends w/picky-eater kids". Highly recommend any entree w/steak,…
Awesome Mexican Cuisine by RipCurl64 via Citysearch on 2/9/2008
Ooba's is the best thing to have happened to the Pacific Northwest Mexican cuisine scene. Not to miss--chunky guac, salmon tacos, chicken enchiladas, and whatever the special is of the day. Yeah, you can get a burrito anywhere, but…
Costly and Horrible by onlyenjoy via Citysearch on 2/5/2008
Please dont go there...I went there reading the same reviews below mine...and i heard it was better than Chipotle..What a joke.....It was the most tasteless Mexican i have ever been..If anyone in this review list claim it to be good, then…
Okay but not really worth it by ischyrus via Citysearch on 1/5/2008
Ooba's is a very unique place, I'll give it that but when it comes down to it it's not all that great. The food isn't any different than other mexican places, the presentation is just a little different. \r

Your Grilled chicken and shirmp tacos rock! Can work on being more clean of your establishment but overall prices are good and food is good
Sadly saying goodbye to Ooba's by s4jones via Citysearch on 8/19/2007
I have been a customer of Ooba's since its inception in 1997. I fondly remember chatting with Craig and Mark after going for a run along the slough and then walking in for a side of chicen and beans. My wfie and I loved it so much at one…
Great inexpensive food by morganl89 via Citysearch on 8/15/2007
Great inexpensive food. The food is better than most Mexican places in this area. I highly recommend it.
My 9 year love affair... by capricelpree via Citysearch on 8/11/2007
I've been a frequent (3-4 times a week) diner here since '98 and I still LOVE this place!!! You can't beat the grilled skirt steak for quesadillas and burritos but the scallops are a nice change too. The chips are always warm (cause they…
