Chef Ramsel Castro was born and raised in Manhattan, New York. Inspired by his mother's traditional Caribbean cooking, at the young age of 6 years old he developed a passion for cooking. He went on to pursue his career in Culinary Arts where he later earned his degree from the Art Institute of Seattle in 2009.
