Super food. I really loved what I ordered, it was tasty and in time. According to prices it was expensive but with great selection. The quality of the meat in this restaurant was nuts. The service was good at all
the food is great by Esmee Cornish on 10/12/2020
We visited this a couple of times already and let me tell you the quality was always great. The quantity of food in comparison to other places is much better and the price is great.
The Scene
Inside, the Fairmount Olympic Hotel's casual oyster bar resembles a chapel: shadowed, quiet, sheathed in dark wood, with recessed seating along one wall. Local business people predominate at lunch; hotel guests and… Read Full Editorial
Seattle's Best Seafood by LotsOfOysters via Citysearch on 8/18/2010
This was my first visit to Shuckers, and to the Seattle area for that matter! I am from the east coast, so I am a very experienced seafood eater- and, let me tell you, this was a wonderful place for fresh seafood. I was very pleased not…

The best seafood in town, the best service, and they love families.
simply stated: great service, great food: best halibut and chips! by Piebaby via Citysearch on 7/5/2008
We had walked by Shuckers a few times while staying at hotels nearby and never really considered it (maybe the name, and no enthusiasm for oysters?). July 4, our usual area targets were closed, so there we were. Never read a review, so no…
Oysters. Nuff said by danic81 via Citysearch on 11/24/2006
Their happy hour deal is a steal... great oysters and draft beers for a great price, and it's not busy at all!\r

The bar staff is also extremely friendly and chatty. They did assume that we were from out of town, but I'll give them…

Shucker's knows their oysters!! No less than 6 kinds of local oysters, plus 8 kinds of imported varieties. Absolutely fresh and full of flavor. Seafood chowders are great as well. \r

Great lunch splurge! by Heather B. via Judy's Book on 5/2/2006
I like the menu here - very Seattle! Yep, it caters to a tourist crowd in the summertime (but really - what mainstream Seattle restaurant *doesn't*?) I've had many a business lunch here and it's always good, and the service is always…

Love the ambiance and the food at shuckers. 3rd time i`ve eaten there, great sandwiches, salads, and fresh fish. Unpretentious.
Spendy, but worth it by piri_piri via Citysearch on 8/11/2005
I had dinner here last night, and it was excellent. The fresh fish menu changes daily, but if you have the chance to order jumbo scallops, do it! At $26, it wasn't cheap, but the scallops were fat and juicy, and the portion consisted of…
Worth the trek up town! by countrycitygal via Citysearch on 8/9/2005
Had a wonderful lunch at Shucker's with 3 business associates last week. They had the Clam Chowder and Ceasar Salads and I had the Green Goddess Salad with Shrimp, Dungeoness Crab and Avocado, which was a delicious meld of the above…
Seafood in downtown Seattle by Eric R. via Judy's Book on 6/28/2005
Shuckers has a great selection of local, fresh seafood, including in-season Copper River salmon. My entree of seared rare tuna was excellent, and the accompanying chardonnay, recommended by our server matched the fish perfectly. However,…
