&nbsp We provide a full spectrum of services at A Canine Experience Inc.: dog and cat boarding, a variety of training programs, doggie daycare with the option for transportation and pet supplies. We pick up and drop off dogs in Lake Stevens, Snohomish, Everett, Mill Creek, Monroe, Woodinville, Kirkland, Bothell and Canyon Park. We are best known, however, for dog training.

A Canine Experience Inc. began in 1995 as a dog trainers school and later expanded into a full service boarding and training facility. Nancy Baer, founder of A.C.E., has over 25 years dog training experience. Co-owner, Andrea Baer, has been training professionally for over 10 years, but has many more years of training experience as an involved 4-Her. Co-owner, Trina Eddy, has been caring for and training animals for over 30 years and training dogs professionally for over 20 years. In over 65 years of combined experience, we have worked with all types of behavior problems.

&nbspAs professional dog trainers at A Canine Experience Inc., we help people solve all types of dog behavior problems. Often times our customers feel that a new behavior has appeared from no where and it is a complete surprise to the owner. After a thorough evaluation, we find that there have generally been warning signs leading up to the new unwanted behavior. Below are some of the most common warning signs you should be aware of.

Warning Signs

Putting their mouths on peoples hands, clothes, legs etc. even in play

Growling, snapping or baring teeth

Biting

Possessive over items or people: Guarding toys, food, owner, sleeping space or anything the dog has stolen

Bursting through doors

Running away - not coming when called

Chasing kids, bikes, joggers etc.

Showing overall lack of respect to owners

Stealing items and running away with stolen item

Out of control when taken for a walk

Uncontrollably jumping on people

Any disrespectful or aggressive behavior needs to be looked at as a warning sign. If your dog is showing any of these warning signs, you should get a behavioral evaluation with a professional dog trainer who has experience with the behavior you are experiencing. A trainer can help you understand the severity of the problem and guide you on how to resolve the issue. You must understand these are basic warning signs and you must look at the overall picture, not just one point. However, if behavior problems are ignored, they can turn into a horrible nightmare.

At A Canine Experience, we offer free behavioral evaluations. If your dog is displaying any of the above warning signs call us at (360)-668-0350 and we will be happy to schedule your free evaluation. We are available Monday through Saturday days and evenings.
