And just as Dr. Ava isn’t like most pediatric dentists or special needs dentists, neither is the decor of her pediatric dental practice. Instead of childish and overstimulating rainbow colors and cartoon characters, her soothing spa-like decor includes swaths of barely there powder pink and pale sky blue with burnished gold touches and dreamy wall accents of floating clouds. The welcoming esthetic at this kids’ dentist is relaxing for both patients and parents. All the equipment in the three high-tech operatories is next level for a dentist for kids, from digital x-rays to an intra-oral camera and soft tissue laser. She believes you cannot expect the best kids dental outcomes without the best diagnostics. Not only does she help prevent and treat dental disease, but Dr. Ava is uniquely qualified to focus on long-term jaw growth and development.

If a patient is feeling anxiety, she is certified to offer nitrous oxide or IV sedation.
Born and raised in Taiwan, Dr. Ava moved to California for a better education when she was 16. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English. This board-certified pediatric dentist has earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemistry from UCLA, a dental degree from the University of California San Francisco, and pediatric dentistry education and certification from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Giving back has always been a mission of hers, and during dental school, Dr. Ava volunteered often and took mission trips to Haiti and Mexico to help promote dental health. She has been practicing in the Inland Empire community since 2015.
