Poorva Vaidya, MD

Dr. Poorva Vaidya is a board-certified UCI Health medical oncologist who specializes in melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers.

She earned her medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. She completed her internal medicine residency training and chief residency at the Los Angeles County/University of Southern California Medical Center, followed by a hematology/oncology fellowship at UC San Diego, during which time she served as chief fellow.

Her research interests include novel treatment strategies in melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer, and she has published her work in peer-reviewed journals.
