Dr. Shirazi earned her MD from Emory University School of Medicine. She did her residency at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, where she also earned her Ph.D. Dr. Shirazi’s interest in surgery formed after a summer of research with a leading oncologist at Emory. She studied “curative” drugs and their side effects which brought the realities of cancer treatment to light, including the relevance of surgery towards a cure, and the importance of early detection. Dr. Shirazi brings the best service to her clients by remaining up-to-date with the latest in clinical trials and novel surgical treatments. Her goal is to spare her patients from the harsh side effects induced by drug therapies.
