DO NOT HIRE! by Luke W. on 8/18/2024 Pristine Clean Pool and Spa was my pool cleaning service when I asked them to perform a repair to which they agreed. I paid thousands of dollars for this repair and was given multiple dates when specific milestones would be met and the project would be completed. This company repeatedly failed to show up when they said they would and failed to meet any of the milestones or completion dates they set. After dealing with this for well over a year, I requested the return of the money paid to complete the project. The owner has repeatedly refused to return my money, despite the fact that the owner admits to the debt. It is clear that this company was both unable and unwilling to complete the project and now refuse to respond to any contact to return my money. I am now out thousands of dollars and will need to pay much more to fix the damage done by this company and complete the project. I am not the only former client that has encountered this type of problem with Pristine Clean Pool and Spa, as others have posted reviews on Yelp describing similar situations where this company took thousands of dollars for a job that they were unwilling and unable to complete. This behavior extends beyond the repair as well, as Pristine Clean Pool and Spa repeatedly missed weeks of pool cleaning, yet still invoiced for those weeks. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! There are much better, more reliable, and trustworthy pool cleaning services in San Diego.
