Ryder Trauma Center | Jackson South

As a certified Level 2 trauma care center, Ryder Trauma Center | Jackson South, is a permanent fixture in the South Miami-Dade community. It stands on its own as a full-service, around-the-clock trauma center, but unlike other Level 2 trauma centers, it also has immediate and unlimited access to the cutting-edge resources of Ryder Trauma Center | Jackson Memorial.

The entire team is dedicated to providing care to patients who need lifesaving care, including those injured in motor vehicle crashes, gun violence, and falls.

At Jackson South, the dedicated trauma bays are housed inside of the hospital's emergency room and are accessible to fire rescue crews by ground transportation, as well as air rescue landing on the helipad atop the ER.
