Dr. David Benditzson

Dr. David Benditzson is a board-certified internal medicine physician and cardiology specialist with more than 40 years of experience serving the greater Chicago area. He was drawn to internal medicine because it requires knowledge of every facet of medicine and poses a new challenge every day. Social and approachable by nature, his patients love him because he takes as much time as necessary with each visit, having face-to-face conversations without the distraction of technology and providing extremely personalized care. He provides physical examinations and treats a wide variety of conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, cardiac issues, and endocrine disorders including thyroid problems. Dr. Benditzson earned his medical degree at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and was a Cardiology Fellow at Northwestern University. Born and raised in the Chicago area, Dr. Benditzson has also served time in the Air Force. Today, he loves going to the theater, symphony, and opera, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family.
