Diamond in the rough by olivia z. via Judy's Book on 5/29/2011
This is the place you have to frequent, you have to know what you're after, and you may have to dig. I furnished my 3 seasons porch, bought a BEAUTIFUL sideboard, living room chairs, drinking glasses, etc. but it took a long time to find…
EXACT SAME ITEM!!!! So Many Different Prices by Guest G. via Judy's Book on 3/30/2010
For a privately owned THRIFT store, the employees and pricing should be a more reasonable and customer friendly than the chain corporations. None of the pricing is consistent and when challenged, the supervisor could care less. I brought…
For the thrifty indeed... by Diana P via Insider Pages on 3/13/2009
If you are a thrifty shopper you can find just about anything under the sun at the Community Thrift...back in highschool I would often buy my entire wardrobe from this thrift store (before it was cool)! The prices are great and the…
Better places to shop by Peggy S. via Judy's Book on 3/4/2009
I have stopped going to this particular thrift store and go instead to the Salvation Army which is right across the street. The help is rude and prices can be high for something that is just not worth it. I don't know how they come up…
Terrible. Racist by Stephen M. via Judy's Book on 8/2/2006
This store is a terrible store. It is racist. If you are African American do not go to this store. You be treated poorly at best. By the way, I am a 43 white male and saw the manager of this store behave in an abominable fashion against…
Find a Treasure. . . Cheap! by Amanda D via Insider Pages on 11/15/2005
I love this thrift store! IT has a bit of everything, from children's clothes, to fur coats. From bicycles to dinnerwear. All the prices are really on the CHEAP and you can always find something fun or useful!
Very Good Thrift in the northern suburbs by Melanie N. via Judy's Book on 8/6/2005
Community Thrift store is a decent thrift shop, compareable to Unique and Value Village in the city. The selection is excellent and the prices are usually very good. All the prices are palendromes, which is a bit weird, but it makes it…
For-profit thrift shop, good selection by jeff f. via Judy's Book on 8/5/2005
I usually like to patronize non-profit thrift shops, but this one is pretty nice. They do not accept drop-offs. They have a nice selection of clothing, though, for the whole family, and they often have a lot of nice looking furniture…
Thrift Store by Jack T via Insider Pages on 6/7/2005
They have a ton of clothes in every size here. You will find something for everyone in the family here at very good price. They always have items that are marked down too. They offer a wide variety of housewares too.
Great selection and decent quality merchandise by Jeff F via Insider Pages on 5/17/2005
This thrift shop is a FOR PROFIT shop, so I am always wary, but they have a good selection of items. I've gotten clothes for my son here, as well as myself, plus items like a baby gate and miscellaneous dishes. Fun to browse.
