Quiet, clean and beautifully appointed, the Heritage Inn of Halstead has six nightly rooms, as well as nine unfurnished apartments available for extended rental. Each room includes a private bath, color television, in-room refrigerator, as well as in-room heating and air conditioning. Contact the Heritage Inn of Halstead to book a room full of historic charm! The Heritage Inn's building has been around since 1920. It used to be the Murat Hotel, named after Murat Halstead, the man the town was named after. Steve's mother and father bought the hotel when Steve's father retired in 1990. Steve's mother cleaned the rooms and Steve's father did the books. Now it is Steve's turn to take over the business. With the help of his mother, they intend to keep the atmosphere as close to home as possible.
