My Review by dudleys1491181165 via Citysearch on 7/27/2013

This is one of my new favorite restaurants. A friend recommended Juban's, and we were not disappointed. The salads are huge and delicious. The Alleluia Crab and Adrian were great. I would also recommend the white chocolate raspberry…

Juban's by Erin B via Insider Pages on 2/27/2010

The main food was great, however I would not have served any of the side dishes. I was amazed at the poor quality and taste of the side dishes. Maybe they figure people don't really eat those, because the main part of the dish was…

Gumbo was great. by Laura T via Insider Pages on 2/12/2010

Don't let the location turn you off. It is located in a rundown strip mall but this restaurant is nicely cared for with a tasteful decor. We had the gumbo which was great and a crab appetizer that was also very tasty.

New Prix Fixe items make Juban's my regular favorite!! by WineMeDineMe via Citysearch on 5/27/2009

My family used to go to Juban's for special occasions because our dining budget didn't allow us more frequent visits. But, about a month ago Juban's began offering 3-Course Prix Fixe specials for lunch ($16) and dinner ($28). That's 3…

Had a Wonderful dinner here with my husband & two friends while working in LA, and it was truly fine- the Smoked Duck Gumbo was So good that it inspired my chef husband to create a similar dish for our Inn in West Virginia! Excellent food,…

A nice evening out. by Cheffan via Citysearch on 3/16/2008

I have traveled to Baton Rouge before but tend to eat at The Kingfish as I almost always stay in the Hilton, this time a few locals mentioned this place. I was dissapointed that I wouldn't be dining where we had originally planned (Ruth's…

Expensive but worth it by emilynf1 via Citysearch on 6/12/2007

I would recommend this place for a special occasion of some sort. Definitely not a place you would go on a normal weeknight but it is very romantic and absolutely delicious. I've never had their catering but I've heard people say it's…

The BEST of Baton Rouge! by rkrealtorva via Citysearch on 4/12/2006

Juban's restaurant is a hidden jewel of a restaurant that rivals the best in New Orleans. Creole cuisine can be somewhat heavy, but Juban's innovative contemporary Creole dishes are sure to please those who find traditional South…

creole in a strip mall by metropical via Citysearch on 8/4/2005

not the most inviting location, Jubans serves up fine creole cooking with attentive service. 6 for dinner and non were disappointed. Good wine list too. Bread pudding was frighteningly delicious. $80 each for 6 with 2 bottles of wine,…
