Emily has been dead for a few years. She does not wait on the tables. Her family carries on the management of this wonderful traditional restaurant. \r

Best Meditarranean in the cities by gopher02 via Citysearch on 2/10/2009
My family has been enjoying Emily's for 20 plus years and it never get's old. I have tried just about every other middle eastern/meditarranean place and nothing comes close to this. The Tabouli is fantastic as is the Kibbe, meat pies,…
Kabob's! by hage0269 via Citysearch on 1/29/2009
I loved the lamb shish kabob's as well as the feel of the place. This is not to say that the ambience is nice but it's this little family run place. I love that. The grape leaves and tabouli were very good as well!!
Very authentic! by williamsmom via Menuism on 11/24/2008
The food and the prices at Emily's are unbeatable! The Spinach Pie here is excellent. Great service...it's...
Yummy! by julieluann via Citysearch on 10/7/2008
Can't beat this place for what they serve! The chicken kabobs, spinach pies, and tabbouleh are my favorites here. The atmosphere leaves a little to be desired and if you are not looking for this place, it's easy to miss. However, I…
Best Hands Down by JenniferIrene via Citysearch on 6/12/2008
I CAN?T BELIEVE THERE ARE SO LITTLE REVIEWS OF THIS PLACE!!! My parents have gone to this little restaurant about once a week starting in the late 70?s. I grew up on this food! Spinach pie?s are super buttery and the dough is moist and…
Awesome food, bad service by sunshine_coffee via Citysearch on 2/14/2008
We go to this place quite often as it is right near where we live and so I have had the chance to try out their food over a period of two years now. I think they have the best Tabouli in town. My favorite menu item is the lebanese chicken…
A great meal for under $10 by pied_beauty via Citysearch on 7/11/2006
The atmosphere might not be great, but the food is delicious. Try as I might, I can never get my bill over $10 per person. The Mistah, warm bread in butter, is wonderful, but I can never finish it with less than 4 people. There are many…
Go for the Lebanese food, the cheap prices and the local flavor. by Contributor via Citysearch on 7/10/2006
In Short
Emily herself works the main room, tending to tables of young couples, families and locals dining alone. Just like its Northeast Minneapolis neighborhood, it has no pretensions: Diners sit at uncovered tables packed…
Its all about the food.. by karen k. via Judy's Book on 11/5/2005
I agree, the food is excellent here. Many of my favorite foods under one roof and all of it tastes so great. It must be all made with fresh ingredients. Prices are fair for this authentic food. The atmosphere isnt that great but it…
Best Lebanese in the Twin Cities by J. D. via Judy's Book on 8/18/2005
I have been eating here for at least 20 years. They have a great selection of Lebanese foods, all of which are the best I have had. The atmosphere is crap, but you're there to eat, not look around. Their meat pies, kibbe, hummus, spinach…
cheap and tasty by battistini via Citysearch on 3/30/2003
The food is much better than the atmosphere in this glumb little place in a glumb little street. The tabouli was unique, and easily the best I have ever enjoyed. Everything else was tasty and i will be back to try the rest of the dishes.…
