It is the belief of the founders, Roy Goldberg, PT, and Ed Blum, PT, that the patients movements that caused the pain, inflammation and limited motion must be identified and treated to assure that the condition will not return. Treatment goals of this practice are aimed at preventing the condition from recurring, as well as alleviating the existing discomfort. All therapists that work under the supervision and guidance of Roy Goldberg and Ed Blum are trained in their philosophy and technique in Movement Impairment Syndromes. Therapists enroll in postgraduate courses and meet routinely to discuss and evaluate patients.
