University of Utah Home Infusion Pharmacy (UHIP) is part of University of Utah Health and provides home-based and specialty infusion pharmacy services for patients in the community. UHIP supplies pharmaceuticals and coordinates infusion therapy in the home setting—including antibiotics, antivirals, immune globulins, total parenteral nutrition, chemotherapy, and specialty infusions for conditions such as Crohn’s disease and rheumatoid arthritis—while offering clinical consultation, insurance reimbursement assistance, and home-care coordination. The service operates as an alternate-site/home infusion pharmacy staffed by licensed pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and nurses and works with Medicare-certified home health agencies to deliver safe, coordinated care to patients at home.
